Frequently Asked Questions
What distinguishes the different mattress ranges by price?
The price range of a mattress reflects the density of its materials, its level of craftsmanship, and its ergonomic technologies:
- Mid-Range: Offer a perfect balance between support, durability, and a reasonable price. They feature excellent quality materials (adaptable memory foam and HR cores or springs) designed to provide comfortable, resilient, and long-lasting daily rest without compromising your budget.
- High-End: Incorporate greater material density, multi-layer high-resilience padding, and breathable fabrics with advanced thermal treatments. They provide superior pressure point relief and are designed for the most demanding sleepers or those with muscular ailments.
- Luxury Range: Represent the pinnacle of artisanal comfort and sleep technology. They utilize extreme density components, superior thicknesses, and premium finishes that provide a unique weightlessness sensation ("cloud effect"), ensuring unsurpassed durability and hygiene over the years.
Why are different mattress heights important, and what does each one contribute?
Mattress height can be an important factor when deciding on your ideal mattress.
- Up to 24 cm: These are usually lighter and easier to move. They generally have a thinner foam or pocket spring core. They are ideal for folding beds, bunk beds, or for children and teenagers, due to their portability and more affordable price.
- Between 25 and 29 cm: These offer a balance between support and comfort. They may include additional technologies such as cooling gel or high-resilience layers. They are durable and versatile, suitable for a wide range of sleepers and sleeping positions.
- Over 30 cm: These include advanced technologies to improve comfort and breathability. They provide a luxurious sleep experience with excellent support and pressure relief, adapting perfectly to different body types and sleeping positions.
What is the difference between Hybrid, Pocket sprung, Memory foam, and Latex materials?
The mattress material is key to your choice, as it is one of the most decisive characteristics:
- Hybrid: A combination of pocket springs with layers of memory foam and HR (high resilience) foam, offering a mix of firm support and comfort, relieving pressure points and providing good breathability.
- Pocket springs: A core composed of hundreds of individual springs, each wrapped in a pocket, which provide firm and durable support, reduce pressure points, and allow for excellent air circulation.
- Memory foam and HR: Synthetic materials and high-resilience foams that adapt to the body, offering excellent pressure relief and adaptability, recovering their shape quickly, and providing durability and consistent support.
- Latex: A very durable, hypoallergenic material that offers good breathability. In addition, it provides firm but elastic support, adapting well to the body.
What are the benefits and characteristics of the different mattress firmness levels?
We can distinguish between 3 different mattress firmness levels:
- Soft Firmness: These offer a feeling of softness and enveloping comfort, allowing the body to sink in slightly. They are ideal for children and teenagers, as well as for the elderly. They are recommended for side sleepers, as they reduce pressure on the hips and shoulders.
- Medium Firmness: These provide a perfect balance between support and comfort. They are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. They help minimize movement during the night, improving sleep quality.
- Firm Firmness: These offer a feeling of firmness and stability that does not allow the body to sink. They are recommended for adults who sleep on their backs or stomachs. They tend to maintain their shape and support for longer, helping to reduce back and joint pain.
